About Us

At SRI VISHWA BHARATHI SEVA TRUST(R) Sringeri, Our organization was established on March 2, 2019, with the blessings of the Sri Jagadgurus of Sringeri. We are a public service organization that operates without any caste discrimination, political bias, or social hierarchy, treating everyone equally and without any expectations of personal gain.

During the time when people were suffering from the deadly coronavirus, particularly in remote and rural areas where many were struggling with health issues and unable to leave their homes, our organization identified those in need and provided food and medicines to 1,614 families, ensuring they received enough supplies for a month.

We have been working diligently to alleviate the hardships faced by the public until the pandemic subsides. One of our main objectives is to engage continuously in the fields of education and health. We have distributed school bags and educational materials to approximately 1,740 students and provided financial assistance to underprivileged students.

Additionally, we have been conducting awareness lectures on issues such as adolescent challenges, the POCSO Act, and cultural awareness for many high school and college students. We have also promoted cleanliness and engaged in sanitation efforts in the community, helped repair homes for poor families, and provided financial aid to those suffering from health issues.

Looking ahead, we aspire to establish an orphanage, a women's shelter, vocational training camps, and educational institutions that offer free education to underprivileged children. Our past efforts have been supported by numerous generous donors, and with continued support from public benefactors, we will be able to undertake even more social initiatives.
